This workshop is part of the Alzheimer’s Association Empowered Caregiver education series teaching caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia. You can just take an individual class or take them all.

Communicating Effectively teaches how dementia affects communication, including tips for communicating well with family, friends and health care professionals.

Other workshops in the series include “Supporting Independence”, “Establishing the Foundations of Caregiving” and “Responding to Dementia-Related Changes in Behavior”.
