If you have trouble hearing, every aspect of your life is impacted. Conversations can be frustrating. Watching your favorite shows or listening to music can be stressful. You may be embarrassed to continually ask people to repeat what they’ve said. You may start choosing to skip social situations and spend more time alone.

As we grow older, hearing loss becomes a greater concern. This educational seminar will help attendees understand more about hearing technology and how it can improve their lives. Those attending will learn about: the relationship between aging, hearing loss and dementia, nerve deafness (partial or total hearing loss due to damage in the inner ear), why some hearing aids whistle, ringing in the ears and the wide range of hearing aid costs.
