Mind-in-Motion™:Movement Therapy for wellness, empowerment, fitness and fun!
Whatever paths we have walked in life, our bones, fluids, muscles and cells hold a “memory” of our experience. Stress, grief, trauma, joy: Our emotions affect our bodies, determining how we move through the world…and our bodies are a powerful part of how we express emotion. Research shows that expressive movement can help reduce anxiety and depression, boost self-esteem and even improve sleep, by reducing stress hormone levels and restoring the body to a calm, natural state. Mind-in-Motion™ uses fun, energizing, dance-based movement to improve emotional and physical wellness. Join us to discover a more nurturing way to inhabit the body you were born in—come and learn to “dance through life!”
This class meets on Fridays from 3:30 – 4:30 PM. There is no charge to participate but registration is required. An email will be sent on Friday mornings with the virtual connection information.
