Understanding Lyme Disease on Wednesday May 26, 2021 at 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Dr. Alex Alvarez from Aviv Clinics in The Villages will detail the underlying biology of Lyme’s Disease and discuss the disease’s impact on the body and mind.  The discussion will highlight the pathology of the disease, why it is difficult to treat, and what advances in medicine may help those who are impacted.  They will also shed light on potential new treatments for the disease including new Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) protocols that are now available in The Villages.
