One out of three American adults has prediabetes, and most of them do not know it. Having prediabetes means your blood glucose (sugar) level is higher than normal but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes. This raises your risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Without weight loss or moderate physical activity, many people with prediabetes can develop type 2 diabetes within 5 years. The year-long lifestyle change program, developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, can help you make lasting changes to prevent type 2 diabetes.

Year-long program: classes meet once a week for 16 weeks, followed by every other week for 2.5 months, and then monthly meetings for the remaining 5 months; FREE (option to purchase class workbook or use free online handouts link).

This class is completely full.

The doctors are on time. They spend time to get to know us. They answer all of our questions. Everything we need is in one place. We are really impressed with the doctors and how things are handled.
