Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors details common behavior changes and how they are a form of communication, non-medical approaches to behaviors and recognizing when additional help is needed.

This workshop is part of the Alzheimer’s Association Empowered Caregiver education series teaching caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia. You can just take an individual class or take them all.

Other workshops in the series include ” Building Foundations of Caregiving”, “Supporting Independence” and  “Communicating Effectively”.
