Bob Trinh: Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Trinh joined The Villages Health as Chief Executive Officer in 2019. He is responsible for ensuring that The Villages Health delivers on its mission to keep people healthy and to heal people quickly in realizing the vision to make The Villages® America’s Healthiest Hometown®. He is excited to lead the growth of The Villages Health by building a strong culture with an emphasis on people, processes and systems.
Prior to The Villages Health, Mr. Trinh served as President for the Illinois Division at Oak Street Health, its largest market. During his time at Oak Street Health, the Illinois Division grew from 14 to 18 primary care clinics, with 96 providers serving over 30,000 patients.
Prior to Oak Street Health, Mr. Trinh served as the Market Vice President for Orlando and South Florida at DaVita Medical Group with 29 clinics, 69 physicians and over 22,000 Medicare Advantage patients. Mr. Trinh also served as Senior Vice President at Physicians United Plan and led STARs, health services, risk adjustment, finance and IT at various times during his tenure there.
Mr. Trinh began his career in health care when he joined Merrill Lynch’s health care investment banking unit in New York City. Afterwards, he worked at Tyco International and later joined WellCare Health Plans, where he built the Financial Planning & Analysis Group and helped prepare the company for a successful IPO.
Mr. Trinh graduated from the University of South Florida, summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance. He obtained his MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Trinh enjoys spending his time with his wonderful wife Iris and their two boisterous boys. He also enjoys relaxing on the beach, watching concerts and shows and going All-In when playing Texas Hold’em poker.
