"As a Doctor of Audiology, I have the privilege of changing lives for the better. My role is to start with a thorough test, plan a pathway of rehabilitation and guide my patients to an improved quality of life through better hearing. Addressing a hearing loss can literally be life-changing, and it’s intrinsically rewarding to be able to help my patients hear, participate and ensure they don’t miss out on the people and activities that make them happy."

I came in wearing two hearing aids and Dr. Monterro asked why I was wearing two hearing aids and I said “Well, I guess it’s because I have a hearing loss” and she said, “I understand that, but your hearing is perfect in your right ear, it’s the left ear that has a hearing loss and you only needed one hearing aid." I was very impressed with the honesty and integrity in addition to her skills. She also has a great personality.
