Braulio Vicente, Jr. – Chief Operating Officer
Braulio Vicente, Jr., Chief Operating Officer at The Villages Health joined the team in July 2018. He is a proven health care financial and operations leader with over 35 years of experience in multiple health care settings such as community hospital, academic medical center, and physician practice. Mr. Vicente is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all care center, both primary and specialty care. Mr. Vicente also oversees the companies Information Technology and Shared Services (call center, scheduling, medical records, and referrals/authorizations).
Mr. Vicente is responsible for strategy and for operational excellence in all our locations with the focus on ensuring that our clinicians and staff have the proper environment and resources to provide high quality, value-based care to the residents of The Villages and surrounding areas. In his duties, Mr. Vicente collaborates with The Villages Health and community-based providers to define and deliver first class care to our patients and families and leads our process excellence efforts in all our care settings.
Prior to joining TVH, Mr. Vicente held various senior leadership roles at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, FL including, VP of Facilities and Support Services, COO of Hospitals/Clinics, and Sr. Vice President, Hospital and Physician Group Operations. Mr. Vicente has experience in both non-for profit and for-profit settings.
Mr. Vicente attended the Florida State University where he earned a BS in Accounting and the University of South Florida where he earned his Master of Business Administration.
