As of 2020, there were 53 million caregivers in the US (an 18% increase since 2015). 41.8 million are over the age of 50 and 15.7 million provide care for someone with dementia. Caregiving is not for the faint of heart. It’s considered a role that comes with lots of responsibilities, obligations and hard work.
