Omicron variant cases still surging in Sumter County, continue with best prevention measures

As Sumter County experiences its highest positivity rate since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s important to note that vaccinations are making a positive difference. Still, the World Health Organization advises that Omicron is unlikely to be that last variant, and begins discussing future solutions to have a high impact on the prevention of new illnesses.
